US wealth management firm Homrich Berg has agreed a deal under which SG Financial Advisors comes into its fold.

Under the agreement, Sammy Grant will join HB as a principal along with Russ Wood and two other client service professionals. The deal is expected to close on December 31, 2020. SG Advisors brings more than $400 million of assets. Homrich now oversees a total of more than $8 billion, covering 45 states prior to the latest merger.

The merger means that SG Financial Advisors is the fifth wealth management firm to join HB since 2008.
